I grew up as an American ex-pat in Germany & Spain, and have made NYC my home since 2003 when I moved here for a graduate program at Pratt Institute. My interests include landscapes, city-scapes, still-life, travel, cats, dogs, reading, and knitting. Artist Statement: I'm interested in the boundaries between observation and abstraction. Careful observation of my surroundings reveals unexpected shapes and color combinations that my paintings emphasize.
