Artist Statement:
I am a visual artist who relies on drawings, paintings, photography and video to express thoughts and ideas. I like to make images about the human condition: portraits, emotions, stages of development, pictures of people who don't exist yet seem real. The interplay between reality and fiction, mental constructions about time, space and memory... make for an inexhaustible subject full of layers of depth.

I use art and portraiture as a way of investigation and knowledge based on the relationship I established with the people I meet at the studio. Portraiture is also the path through intuition that art perspective allows me. My education in psychology has allowed me to learn the nuances of people and has provided me with good investigative and analytical skills which I use in each photographic session in order to have deep experience with the subjects I portray.
