Artist Statement:
My artwork references connections to objects and places from our collective pasts. I typically employ the use of fabric and thread to create these works. The pieces pay homage to the craftsmanship and design that defined previous eras. These items are powerful in their ability to withstand the test of time, evoke a sense of nostalgia that is personal, and speak to our universal interconnectedness.
