Artist Bio:
I am an artist and curator based in LIC in the Local Project Gallery Space studios. My experience is both in visual art and the music business where for over 15 years I worked in marketing and sales with many music artists. In 2004, I began curating and doing a more intense artistic practice. I studied art at SUNY Purchase and The Arts Students League.
Currently, I serve as Board Chair at Local Project where I have curated multiple shows as well as created Music Under the 7 series (2011-2016).
I am the executor of the Dick Lubinsky art collection, which has shown at Fountain House Gallery, the American Visionary Museum of Art, The Erie Art Museum, and more.
I also serve on the Board of the new formed Cuala Foundation.

Artist Statement:
My art practice continues to be informed by how fragility and resilience are intertwined and are mechanisms of survival in these days of rapid changing environments. My animal art is created from original photos I have taken during my travels. I aim to celebrate animals in these days of severe climate change and uncertainty.
