She discovered printmaking at the Art Students League of New York and it quickly became a passion. She is the recipient of several awards. Her work has been exhibited in the United States and Canada and is held in private collections internationally. Artist Statement: I am a printmaker. I work in etching, woodcut and lithography because I am inspired by each. Whichever the medium, pulling the first print of an image is particularly exciting. My images come to me as I wander through my thoughts with some geometric shapes, sizing, arranging and connecting them. The relationship of the shapes triggers the way the image will complete itself. I like working with abstract images because an abstract image can have many interpretations and I like to hear if the viewer has any of the same thoughts that I had while creating the image.
