Artist Statement:
Vikram fell in love with Astoria and Queens immediately when I first moved here. The multicultural landscape offered a solitude often rare in big city like New York. His photographs capture the tranquility and solitude of Queens as well as many other unique characteristics that make Astoria and Queens so special to those who live here and witnessed the ongoing change. These photographs are time capsule of both memory and history while affirming that in New York, change is inevitable. Come see the book and few selected original prints from the book, both available for purchase. Vikram will be able to answer question and sign your copy of the very special limited edition and quantity book.
