She completed an artist Certificated Program in Drawing and Painting at the New York Academy Of Art. Her paintings have been exhibited in Europe, USA and Japan. Susana is currently living and continuing to develop her art career in New York. Artist Statement: "My intent is to create oil portraits surrounding figuration but speak in a language of abstraction freshness. Working with traditional methods as tools, as well as creating accidental results with the palette knife and other utensils. Making either successful or inaccurate strokes, each layer accumulates after the other to complete the painting. My goal is to discover and make my own interpretation of undercover personalities from the photos that I use as reference.
