She received a B.A. at Binghamton University where she studied fine arts and Spanish. She continued her studies at the School of Visual arts where she received her M.A. in art therapy. Courtney's work ranges from painting, collage and mixed media art using recycled materials and found objects. Currently she focuses on creating small mixed media collages with large, unintentional themes. She is also a compulsive doodler. Courtney has previously exhibited at the LIC Arts Open as well as a number of group shows at local galleries in Queens, including Local Project, Materials for the Arts, and M55 Art Gallery.
