He was born in New York City and raised on Long Island. He holds a BA from Oberlin College in Ohio and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. His work has been shown at Outfest, MIX, the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, documenta 12, Spark Contemporary Art Space and the Yerba Center for the Arts.
