The artists moved into the studio in January 2017 and work in variety of mediums from acrylic paints, fiber and fabric to prints. The studio is a working community where we hold workshops and classes and artists are encouraged to share their expertise. Works of the studio artists have been exhibited at our gallery -- Fountain House Gallery and the Outsider Art Fair in NYC among others. Artist Statement: Fountain House Gallery Studio provides studio space for artists living with mental illness. The studio is a safe and exploratory environment for artists to pursue their creative visions and to challenge the stigma that surrounds mental illness.
